Open Occult Discord Community

Our Discord server is a sanctuary for ethical occult study and open-source development. These rules ensure we maintain a space that honors both tradition and innovation.

Community Covenant

"By participating in our community, you agree to uphold these principles. We value rigorous inquiry over blind faith, and ethical practice over empty aesthetics."

Open Occult's Pillars

Knowledge Belongs to the Seekers

"We believe wisdom should be open to all. No secrets, no paywalls—just shared learning in a spirit of generosity."

Verify, Then Deify

"We check facts before celebrating ideas. Every claim needs evidence, and every source should be trustworthy."

Ethics Over Aesthetics

"Respect comes first. We honor the origins of traditions and never borrow sacred practices without permission."

Code Is the New Grimoire

"Technology helps us preserve and share knowledge. Our tools are open-source, so everyone can learn and build together."

Balance the Ancient and the Algorithmic

"We value both old wisdom and new methods. Tradition guides us, but innovation helps us grow."

Name and Shun the Grifters

"We protect our community from scams and false teachers by sharing honest warnings about bad actors."

Decentralize the Mysteries

"No single person holds all the answers. We learn as equals, sharing insights and questioning respectfully."

Practicality Over Pomp

"Real-world results matter most. We focus on what works, not just what sounds impressive."

Leave No Seeker Behind

"All questions are welcome here. We grow by helping each other, without judgment."

Safety in the Shadows

"We practice responsibly. Clear warnings are given for risky topics, and harm reduction is always prioritized."
